I technically have it but I'm functional enough to hold down a job.

Yes it sucks being autistic, but I'm not noble or brave for dealing with something that I was born with, I'm unlucky and I've been dealt a bad hand by fate god, genetics or whatever you believe in. There's no autism and no autism imo, it's not like a pregnancy. It's a set of symptoms artificially defined as an aid in medical treatment. Same as many other psychological diagnoses, like BPD or depression.  That being said I'm starting to see a lot of autistic tendencies around me. I'm pretty sure we're seeing an increase here. On the best experiences, it's nostalgic, immersive, and memorable. Personally, I think there's something psychological to it.
